Pirate ships are an idiotic analogy for a team. Pirates plundered indiscriminately, backstabbed each other, and existed to line their own pockets and move on. We're the opposite: a high performing sports team. Defined roles, playing to strengths, coordinated on the field. Long game, not the raid. Every person here is chosen because they make the team better, and expected to earn their spot the same way.
